There is so much to love about a beauty relaunch done well, and Byron Bay’s Mukti Organics has delivered exactly that. The certified organic skincare pioneer has unveiled the Bioactive Renewal Collection, a beautiful reimagining of its bestselling Age Defiance range, complete with a fresh identity, elevated packaging and more than a decade of refinement in every formula.
Built around the brand’s lovely philosophy of ‘Proof, Not Promises’, the four-piece collection pairs clinically validated peptides with some of Australia’s most treasured native botanicals, including Kakadu Plum, Davidson Plum, Emu Apple, Mountain Pepper Leaf, Sea Buckthorn Berry and Queen Garnet Plum. Together they form a complete daily renewal ritual that firms, brightens and renews, backed by independent testing with genuinely impressive results.

What’s in the range
Bioactive Renewal Day Serum ($130, 30ml) is the everyday hero. Four biomimetic peptides plus CoQ10 and 25 bioactives and botanicals lift, firm and protect in one lightweight formula that layers beautifully under SPF and makeup. Testing showed it reduced wrinkle volume by 20.6% after just one week.
Bioactive Renewal Night Serum ($130, 30ml) works in sync with the skin’s natural repair cycle while you sleep. Led by 1% Bakuchiol, the clinically validated natural alternative to Vitamin A, with Niacinamide, Vitamin C, Liquorice Root and Papain enzyme, it brightens, exfoliates and renews, and it’s gentle enough for all skin types including sensitive.
Bioactive Renewal Eye Crème ($110, 10ml) is a little luxury for the delicate eye area. Three biomimetic peptides and native extracts of Davidson Plum and Emu Apple build new collagen, while Cucumber, Chamomile and Aloe Vera soothe and comfort. Testing showed a 29.7% reduction in eye bag volume and a 20.6% reduction in wrinkle volume after one week.
Queen of the Night Creme ($134, 50ml) is the opulent final step. Its Ceramide Complex replenishes 50% of the skin’s natural barrier lipids, with plant collagen peptides and plant EGF working overnight so skin wakes visibly softer, plumper and rejuvenated. In a four-week consumer trial it improved moisturisation in 98% of users and boosted volume and plumpness in 78%.
Why we love it
Beyond the gorgeous formulas, it’s the sentiment behind the collection that really resonates. “We don’t believe ageing is something to fight, or fear. The goal isn’t to turn back time, it’s to support skin as it evolves,” says founder and CEO Mukti. It’s skincare that celebrates where you are, made with certified organic, cruelty-free and Australian-made credentials, and results to match. We’re smitten.
