Partnerships
A collection. A beauty launch. A restaurant worth the booking.
The good ones all deserve the same thing, which is to be written about properly.
That is what happens here. Real editorial, written by people who know the industry from the inside and can tell you exactly why a thing works.
Style Machine is an Australian fashion, beauty and culture publication. We cover the clothes, the products, the openings and the places worth knowing about. Our readers come to us to work out what to wear, where to go and what is genuinely worth the money, and they trust what we put in front of them.
When we work with a brand, the piece is written the same way our editorial is. Same eye. Same standard. Same voice. It sits inside the magazine rather than beside it.
Treated like a story, not an ad.
What we cover
- Fashion. Collections, launches, trends and the pieces worth buying.
- Beauty. New products, routines and the things we actually use.
- Eat and drink. Restaurants, bars and openings across Sydney and beyond.
- Culture. Exhibitions, events, hotels and the people behind them.
- Tastemakers. Our interview series with designers, founders and creative directors.
The masthead
Shannon Meddings, Editor. Twenty-five years in fashion. Vogue, Marie Claire and Harper’s Bazaar. Catwalks for Chanel and Australian Fashion Week. On screen for The Voice, Sunrise and X Factor.
Emelie Janasi, Senior Contributor. A makeup artist with a background in fashion buying for designers in her native Sweden, including dressing members of the Swedish royal family.
That is the standard everything here is held to. We write about a collection, a product or a restaurant the way people who have worked with them write.
Launch dates move. We can work to them.
The audience
Our reels reach close to a million people in a typical quarter, and ninety six per cent of them have not come across us before. That is the part that matters for a brand. Our reach keeps finding new people rather than circling the same audience, so your product lands in front of someone who has never seen it.
Half our readers sit outside Australia, across the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe.
And everything we publish stays live. A partnership that runs in November is still being found the following spring, still linked, still sending people your way.

Gifting
We love seeing new products and we are always open to samples. Send us what you are working on and if it is right for our readers, we will cover it.
Gifting is considered for editorial rather than booked. We cannot promise a piece, a date or a format. If you need confirmed coverage on a timeline, a partnership above is the way to do it.
Email us at hello@stylemachine.com.au and we will send through our postal address.
The practical bits
- Rates are in Australian dollars and exclude GST.
- Half on booking, half on delivery.
- Your story stays on stylemachine.au for good, links live.
- Everything paid is marked as paid, in line with AANA guidelines.
- We feature what we would recommend to a friend, which is why our readers act on it.
Talk to us
The brand, the campaign, roughly when you want it live. That is all we need to come back to you with something. We would love to hear what you are working on.
