Bondi’s most iconic wellness destination is stepping into its next chapter. This December, the team behind Slow House Bondi will officially transition to 38 Degrees: The Bathhouse , a name that honours the space’s original spirit and the feature that has long defined it: the 38° plunge pool at its centre.

Twelve months ago, owners Marc Dias, Paul Dias, and Jason Zammit partnered with GIANT Design to create a bathhouse shaped by ritual, warmth, and community. What emerged was a sanctuary where design meets intention, and where locals return not just to restore, but to reconnect. Today, that vision continues under its refined new name.

At the heart of the space is the 38° pool, a place where conversations unfold, friendships form, and the rhythm of daily wellness takes shape. It is more than a pool; it’s the gravitational centre of the bathhouse and the reason the new chapter feels less like a rebrand and more like a return.

The shift to 38 Degrees: The Bathhouse signals a renewed commitment to intentional design, community-first wellbeing, and the timeless rituals that continue to define the Bondi lifestyle.
