Sydney’s nightlife has a new contender, and it’s shaking things up with a blast from the past. Cancun Boat Club, located in the heart of Circular Quay’s Quay Quarter Lanes, is not your average margarita bar. Launched in May 2024 by hospitality heavyweights Milpa Collective and The WXT Group, this vibrant, late-night Mexican diner has quickly become one of the city’s most sought-after destinations for those craving bold flavours and good vibes. And now, with the introduction of Sydney’s first all-day and night bottomless menu, Cancun Boat Club is set to become the ultimate weekend hangout.

The experience kicks off every Saturday from midday and runs until the early hours of 2 AM, with the last booking taken at midnight. For $79 per person, you’ll get 90 minutes of unlimited margaritas, Jarritos palomas, beer, and rosé, paired with an irresistible taco feast. The menu features mouth-watering options such as Birria (slow-cooked beef brisket), Chicken Tinga (shredded chicken with chipotle adobo), and a vegan-friendly cauliflower option with fermented black beans. Sides are plentiful, ensuring you leave both satisfied and ready to continue your night.

But it’s not just the food and drinks that draw a crowd—it’s the atmosphere. Cancun Boat Club is a nod to the vibrant ’80s, with everything from the DJ’s playlist to the décor evoking memories of classic hits like Flashdance and Miami Vice. The space is filled with ’80s props, from captain hats to leg warmers, and you can even snap a photo next to the Corvette Stingray parked outside. The vibe inside is lively, loud, and welcoming, with staff that are fast, friendly, and on top of their game.

Whether you’re heading out for pre-drinks or want to make it your main event, Cancun Boat Club offers a nostalgic, fun-fuelled escape that feels like partying at your mate’s bar. For those looking to celebrate a birthday, the club offers a special treat—free food and drinks for the guest of honour when booked with four paying friends.
Cancun Boat Club has redefined Sydney’s bottomless brunch scene, and it’s safe to say the city’s nightlife will never be the same again.
