Proenza Schouler’s Spring 2025 collection, which launched just before New York Fashion Week, couldn’t have come at a better time for us in the Southern Hemisphere as we embrace our own spring season. Designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have delivered a collection that feels perfectly in sync with what we want to wear right now: light, easy, and stylishly cool.

At the heart of the collection are scarf-like square shapes, draped effortlessly across the body. These designs create a sense of movement that feels made for breezy spring days. Whether it’s sleeveless striped tops paired with high-waisted sailor pants or flowy floral dresses, the looks offer a fresh, modern take on classic warm-weather pieces.
One of the things we love most is how they play with texture. Pleats add elegance to long, flowing dresses in soft tones like ivory and lilac, perfect for a day in the sun. Meanwhile, fringe in leather and organza brings an edge to skirts with asymmetrical hems, adding a bit of fun to an otherwise classic silhouette.
The accessories also stand out for their practicality. Proenza Schouler’s collaboration with Sorel resulted in rubber rain shoes and low-profile sneakers that are both stylish and functional—a perfect nod to our unpredictable spring weather. These accessories ground the collection, making it feel more everyday-wearable while still delivering on style.

As we step into Spring 2024 here in the Southern Hemisphere, Proenza Schouler’s collection sets the perfect tone. From the easy, sail-inspired shirtdresses to the bold marinière-striped knit sets, it’s all about pieces that feel fresh, wearable, and just right for the season.
